Champagnie hit 2 treys in perfect rhythm running the court in transition. The kid gets better and better. This kid was a steal. The coaching working too...

At the risk of being redundant, don’t understand having all 5 starters on the bench at the same time.

Sears with a nice bucket off a beautiful feed from Caraher, follows it up with alert hands/steal.

It’s just Saint Pete’s but I rarely remember a year we weren’t sweating most of the “little” games. This is the first year where we are simply more prepared in every way. It’s nice to see. We may not always have the talent to beat the big guns this season but we will be prepared and go the distance. Very refreshing.
Julian feeling it. God this kid could be something
I said weeks ago that by his 3rd year Julian will be special.

Yeah, it's Saint Peter's, but he done it vs. Vermont and AZ St. well.
Saint Peter's is a good school to experiment some thing with, and get ready for wvu.

Coach can't let him blow up next year though or he might not be here a 3rd year. That might sound silly but if he works hard on his weaknesses in the off season, then comes back next year and avg say 15 & 8

Very true, MCNPA. I should know better.

On that note, Anderson after the last game talked about us needing to play better with a lead. The time out a couple of minutes ago where they had the mic on Coach was a situation where we were up 20-6. He could have easily said, "Great job, guys. Grab some water and keep it up." but instead chose to get into them for not getting the ball into the middle of the zone. I really love that. I like that Anderson is a coach where you see progress on the court and not just in his words or alluding to progress that's occurring "in practice"

Agreed. We in the past played down to opponents. That hasn’t happened this year. Of course the real test is yet to come. But things feel differently.

In time Julian will one of those three position guys coaches crave. As he adds quickness will be able to play the 2 in spots, 3 & stretch 4. Ideal for CMA’s approach imo.

This team still misses to many shots at the rim. They’re bunnies. Got to hit those shots in Big East play

Teams have “runs”, good and bad. St Pete’s was entitled to a few minutes of competence against our second string mostly. I think we are doing reasonably well with the lead considering we had to cool down some after the intense start.

Johnnies sloppy with the ball in latter part of second half, particularly Dunn.
