They said "just 21 more laps to go". How long does that take??

For me, about four days. (Very frustrating. Maybe it's because, I grew up in the Bronx, but I never understood what people saw in watching cars repeatedly going around in circles.)

And their fans would say, "I never understood what people saw in watching people run back and forth trying to but a ball in a hoop"
Not the same at all. One relies solely on physical ability, the other relies more on mechanical ability of a car. Yes, of course, there’s some driving ability involved, which is a skill, but no way you can compare auto racing to any sport. And clearl6 nowhere near as popular up here as it is down south.

There is a ton of physical ability in Nascar.  Is it as much as basketball?  Probably not.  But the drivers are still athletes, even if you dont understand it want to believe it.

Talk to coach about that.  Every game we are expecting a big East level team, very often they fool us. Hard to think you can star a big game that way

Nice of the guys to wait until FS1 picks up coverage to score our first points

Why in the world did CMA start Toro knowing what's at stake?  If he wanted to do that, let me him start to get his name called then sacrife a foul or a timeout and get your normal rotation in.  That completely threw everything off, Toro cannot play at this level, it's 4v5, all he did was pick-up a foul and take a horrible shot.  If they lose this, this is on CMA, this is not what you do when your team is playing for their life.

I could see if the kid was here for four years but as a grad transfer and considering what's at stake I don't get it.

Lulling then in to a false sense of security. Just like we did with PC.

Get this down to 10 or less at halftime and we'll have a shot. Can't give Cale open looks at threes.

Probably not the best time to try and convince a bunch of angry basketball fans
of the positive attributes of auto racing

Hustle and an uptempo style are good but at some point talent does matter.

Toto's not the problem.  Worth the start for the crack he gave Mamu.

Senior Fright
Wasn't that, they started the game 4v5 playing against a team fighting for their tournament life.  Toro has put up walk-on numbers this year, there's absoultey no way in the world he should have played the first 3 minutes in a game of this magnitude, especially when they are already down their 2nd best player.  Everyone know's I'm a CMA fan, but my goodness that was an absoultely horrible decision.
