Sorry but don't think we can win and play Toro. Down 10 all things considered isn't terrible. We've been here before.
If Toro starts 2nd half I'm done watching.

I don't care how good he looks at practice, he brings not a single positive thing to the floor when he checks in.  He's unathletic, very slow, can't catch the ball, had bad court awareness on defense, and has one of the ugliest looking shots in the history of college basketball.
So you like him? :)

Not the way I wanted to close the half, but we're in range to make it a game going forward.

Good job down the stretch, defensively, by Toro as mentioned by Monte.

Just so tough on the offensive end with either Roberts or Toro in the game. It's 4 on 5.

Love the lineup with Cole, Toro and Wusu

Need Champ and anyone else to get hot. It's all about making shots and hope they miss, it's as simple as that. We've overcome poor defense plenty of times, just need to make shots.

Yea, Toro's the problem.
Champ looked gassed at the end of the half.

So basically what you are saying is he is not a candidate for the Naismith Player of the Year award. Amirite?

We got points from Williams, Roberts and McGriff and a total of 4 pounts from Dunn, Champ, Moore, Cole. If those 4 or any combination have a good second half like happened against Providence we can be in this game. Wake the hell up on O if you can't play D.

Id get the Duke in there qucikly in this half.  he knocked down a 3, looked good driving to the hoop and made a nice hustle play to save a ball going out of bounds.

Hes had games this year where hes gotten hot and carried us.

Id like to see Gwill be more aggressive this half.  We need him to score.

And Moore needs to keep his ass downlow and dunk everything in sight.

Not sure if it's been mentioned bc I don't usually follow the game threads but Moore came up limping last game after a Dunn layup. Wonder if he's battling some sort of injury...

Just got home.
Considering they were down 18-0, being down 10 isn't so bad.
Let see how we come out of rhe locker room.

First 4 minutes will tell alot.

I’m not watching the game, following this thread. I think its hilarious you’re all getting on Toro.

You want to get on someone? Get on Moore. Where the hell is he when this team needs him most? Toro? He’s not even part of the rotation.

Edit: if he’s injured then I take this back. I didn’t get the impression he was from reading through the thread.

Down by 10. There's still a chance things turn around in the 2nd half.

Mcgriff is looking better. He's sat for most of the season and still adjusting to playing.

If we are going to have a shot, need big second halves from Champ & Dunn who were both bad in first half and Greg needs to play a lot. Roberts looked good and should get big minutes in 2nd half.
Don't like to complain about refs, but 3 foul shots on home court is kind of hard to take.

CMA had a couple guys like Toro at Arkansas, when I say that I mean a guy that you would hear good things about at practice and they seem like a good kid, but when they get in the game they look horrible.  It would drive us nuts.  Although I will say Toro takes the cake, I haven't seen anyone as bad as him actually get on the floor before under CMA.  Last guy we complained about at Arkansas was Adrio Bailey, he was pretty bad probably lead the country in missed drunks/layups, but at least Adrio was athletic and would get a highlight dunk every now and then,

Yes it's called 3 point shootingitis

Blame coach.   Moore should have been yanked and the reinserted.  Unless he mouthed off.

Make him run laps after the game.

Many of our guys are guilty of regularly poor shot selection.  Why single
him out.
