No reason to watch the second half. We will make a couple of runs , cut the lead to 3 or 4 then Watson will get the ball down low hit a couple of shots, we'll clank a couple of threes, Duke will bang down a three and we'll be down 10 again. We'll lose by 8. 

Honestly, this feels like a potential blowout if they don't completely change the vibe in that gym coming out of the half. The halfcourt offense when they don't start with Champagnie getting the ball in the post is chaotic. The energy on defense is just bad and in addition to Watson being a mismatch no matter what, the interior defense is especially bad tonight and it's not just because of a size deficency. It's just sloppy and loose.

Lappas has torched our defense all game and he's right . We stink at the1/2 Court D .  And , does Anderson teach guys to move away from the basket after a missed shot?  We never get a Rebound after a missed shot . Never . Unlike the way we finished last year , we are self destructing down the stretch .

I get what you are saying but in fairness Williams shots look like could go  in and I am not saying no no no when he rises to shoot

If anyone didn't appreciate how much one freshman sets the pace of every St Johon's game, establishes our defensive pressure, creates opportunity for himself with turnovers and for others with great passes, and mostly provides consistnet leadershp by example and initiative, they should get it now.  Without our intense and emotional freshman, we are just a mix of transfers, role players, and decent players without a coordinator. We are like an orchestra without a conductor with each instrumentalist deciding when to play solo.  Until we get a few super stars, who are also leaders as well as scorers, the team is not competitive, and won't be without Posh on the floor.

Jack, I want them to win as much as anyone. But, we can't stop Watson inside and Duke is playing very well. Even if we can control Duke, Watson is still going to eat us up. That's just the facts of the situation. We have no inside presence. It kills us.

It was a tough look but at least for the most part Greg was missing shots we want him taking.

We need to play Champ, Moore, Posh (with 1 hand), and go recruit 2 more people during half-time.  Champ and Moore are literally the only people out there that aren't looking like dear in headlights right now.

Dunn is taking a lot of heat, but honestly Wusu, Williams, Cole, and Roberts have all been terrible as well.  I don't know what happend but outside of Champ, Moore, and Posh everyone else lost their confidence lately, well Dunn has confidence, he's just not good.  You can see Champ's frustration out there.

Williams continues to be overrated here by some.  At some point the reality has to sink in.   Performance is the key, not potential or looking the part. 

this is a game our supposed second best plsyer needs to force his will abs be aggressive.  Unfortunately  I don't think he has it in him.
