I guess the coach doesn’t review situations with his player. Repeated dumb fouls by different players reflects poor coaching.

So this should be Anderson at practice: "Ok guys, for the last 20 minutes of practice, we are going practice not fouling the other team when they have the ball 40 feet away from the basket....Posh, take the ball and go hold it near half court. Julian, you go guard him, just make sure you don't touch him."
