Two comments. 1) Providence just wants this more than SJU. 2) Need to get Figgy back in the game, now. If he fouls out, so be it.

I’m sorry Simon and Clark are giving us zip. Gotta get Figgy in there despite fouls . Keita has hands like Yakwe and cannot Rebound . Simon is a puzzle

The thing is that the inconsistency of the team and ack of urgency us inexplicable. This is an important game and Heron notwithstanding they need to play like it’s a must win.
34-19 PC rebounding edge & Simon 1/7 btw.
In a game like today's stanza is where rebounding or lack of is so key. You have to manufacture points when we're not getting anything from Simon and Clark.

Again, we should pressure the ball after made baskets.

Agree.
With no Heron and LJ's foul trouble , Ponds is the only play maker on the floor. Cooley knows that.
We all know that.... Speed up the game, instead of allowing Providence to dictate tempo.

Not much good to say about this game so far. One thing is how incredibly active Roberts is in there. He is a keeper.

Lol...who on this team is going to speed up the game if Ponds is clogged with no Heron or LJ?

As we mourn loss of Heron remember we came into season with a thin roster with zero margin of error, shame on staff. This was compounded by not giving Roberts time early in schedule. Sorry, just frustrated.
