Y did it take anderson so long to get the duke starters minutes? Hes a monster on the glass and chipping in nicely on offense. I feel like this is the team we should have been trotting out there 2 months ago.

Penny has been tremendous today. He may need a 30 burger for us to win tonight.

That has got to be some kind of record! ;)

There was zero foul there though. Shouldn’t have been a foul. He bricked his shot, that’s it.

We were rotating ball well most of half, but resorted to one one stuff in last two minutes. LJ gets frustrated easily, relax!

uuuugggly end to the half. Have to be happy with lead. Find rhythm early in second and hope to stay out of foul trouble.

he's been playing starter's minutes for the last 2+ months.....so what are you talking about?

I will say, Butler is that grinding, slow and annoying team that we can beat, as long as we stayed disciplined. It doesn’t take a big shooting game. It takes us stepping back and grinding and not missing assignments etc. We are doing great. Need more contribution from Others than Champs and Earlington. LJ has to step up as does Greg Williams. Not time for them to fall asleep. Williams has to look to nail a few threes, we know he’s capable. Need more of a team effort offensively.

Needed Dunn in there earlier before the half. Caraher and Rutherford together trying to distribute not a good look.
We’ve doubled our first half scoring vs. first game.
We can win this. No moral victories tonight. Just win.

Dunn needs to be big in the 2nd half. Same old story with us missing bunnies, but no foul calls on any? Everytime Butler goes to the basket its a foul on us.

LJ is not a cerebral player who takes some I'll advised shots almost every game. He looks to score every time he gets the ball even if it means taking a bad shot. I think coach Anderson is the one who gets frustrated and pulls him in many of those situations. Sears is a huge offensive liability who plays some defense but he's even less productive than Roberts. To think what this team would have looked like with a productive 6'9 player. Dare I say even a possible tourney team. While daydreaming at the half, imagine if Steere was the real deal and Heron was not injured.
The bottom line CMA is doing a very good job.
