Pregame we are #53 (KenPom), let's see what we do.  Spread is 22.5

Last game was so bad that our "win" dropped us 10 slots in KenPom immediately that night.

That's a lot of empty seats.  Considering its NY vs. NJ metro, we have to find a way to generate some buzz and fill these seats.  At least fill the seats opposite the camera first.  

It doesn't present well.

If you want to fill the seats you have to play well and win. We're not doing that right now.

Worst part is, those seat backs are usually owned by the long time season ticket holders, donors etc. I know some give away when they can't attend but agree that its a bad look in general. I bought seatbacks on stubhub for the 12/29 Marquette game.

Here's a thought about helping to fill seats and be part of the solution:

Buy a couple of seats , maybe 2 , and donate them to your local high school or get a group of people together to buy a block of tickets

Perhaps SJU could give those going a tour of the campus before the game and you might make these kids St. John's fans for life

Some of them may actually attend St. John's in the future or at the very least apply

At the risk of being self-serving, I along with another alumnus are doing that for the Colgate game and hope to have 25 kids at Carnesecca.

In addition, SJU has agreed to give them a tour of the campus before the game.


Or, if you have curtsied seats, and can't attend games , give them away to those on Redmen

What a horrendous performance so far against an inferior team!! How this team is even staying in the game with Kansas I have no idea! 
 
Get middle school teams in the local area to come in and visit each game.  Build future fans (and maybe recruits) from a grass roots level.

Only thing I am hoping for is Dayton beat Kansas.  Any given night.

Give me more Pinzon (when healthy) and more Stanley!  Less Steff Smith.  
 
Posh still hobbled and no Pinzon. No one else can run the offense. There’s no flow. This team is in serious trouble until both those guys are fully healthy. Posh plays so hard and fast , he needs Pinzon to give him a break.

Offense actually looked better with posh out so far.
