Vince & Josh with 2 fouls each. Hope neither one picks up a quick 3rd; they are both having very good games.

10 & 3 assists for Cole, seems to have calmed down and let game come to him. Hopefully :)
He's been playing great, hasn't forced anything and let things come to him, you can tell the game has slowed down for him. He's also long and lankey on defense and gets a lot of deflections, he's been switching 1-4.

Impressive. Focus on good, solid team defense in the second half and this is a W.

Julian is silky smooth!  I hope he comes back next year.  Posh is really playing well.  Nice first half from Cole.  I know Earlington has struggled at times this year, but he's a high energy kid who I think brings sinfifnicd value off the bench.  I like him a lot and can live with a few bad decisions.

Great first half.  There is a long way to go and Marquette will undoutedly make a run.  Let's see how our guys respond.

I would look for them to emphasize getting the ball inside to John and Garcia.

Posh harassed hell out of their PG Carton who has not scored & 0 assists

I agree of course that Marquette will go inside.
What I don't understand is that they were trying that, and their bigs are bruisers, and yet
we didn't get burned that badly by them.
I guess our high percent shooting is the key to our lead for a change..more good shooting than layups off turnovers; but it is surprising that their inside dominance hasn't been the primary theme of the game.

Marquette made good runs against providence and made a run to almost beat DePaul so I know it's coming I really hope we can withstand it.

I've been saying all year Cole just needs to get used to Div 1 play and relax. Consider him relaxed!

We shot 15 threes and only took 3 free throws.  We shot it well so it worked out, but that may have to change in the second half.

Well that half ending was better than the Mandalorian season finale even
Lets not get crazy now :)
Thanks for not going into details, there.  I'm only through episode 3 of season 2.

As for that first half, the best sign was that we managed to maintain a nice cushion during our cold spell.  Yes, they cut a 15 point lead almost in half, but a month ago, the lead would probably be cut to one possession over that same period of time.

That being said, we can't keep relying on the 3 ball like this.

Cole has earned his starting spot back.  When Gwill is healthy, either he or dunn will be coming off the bench.
Going to be an interesting to see what CMA does, Williams was arguably the 2nd best player on the team before his injury, however Posh/Dunn back court has been great together, especially on defense, and Cole has obviously found his rythm and been playing great as a starter.  My guess would be Williams coming off the bench, he's one of those guys that I think can play well as a starter or as the 6th man coming on the bench.

Let's make them score baskets from the field and not via a parade to the foul line where they are good. Good, smart defense this half.

Keep controlling tempo & if John is their biggest threat offensively I will take it

Great half by the redmen, lets close this one.

Pnts n the paint 20-18 sju
Pnts off turnovers  12-6 sju

Glad I said I'm gonna stop posting  until after the season, after that they seem to have woke up lol

I'll do it again too if they have another slide though I know it's only superstition
