I thought defense was going to be our strong point. It’s been bad the last game and a half.

Heron’s lack of confidence in his outside shot is hurting us even when he doesn’t shoot because we end up with a forced drive or foul or late pass from him.
He needs to shoot when he is open or sit on the bench.

Heron’s problem is his lack of mojo. He’s not a killer. He’s so fragile out there with his game. He needs to get a pep talk from D’Lo on how to be an absolute killer out there. We need more of that. This has zero to do with Heron’s talent. It’s all mental and something only Heron can fix.

We just need a lot more talent. This is the way it’s gonna be this season.

Looking forward to the "CMA teams get better" rutherford in dog house. team flow dies every time rutherford or roberts leaves the game.

It's still extremely early in Anderson's tenure, but it's not simply talent. Earlington can't be out there doing his thing like he's Kobe Bryant.

UMass shooting 48% on heels of allowing ASU to shoot 60% in second half yesterday, not the D advertised for Johnnies lately

We've been allowing dribble-penetration too easily for my taste in the early going of this season.

Use some zone.

I'm resigned to the fact if we lose today it will be a very long season. So far it reminds of the norm Roberts era, play hard but cant score, I'm hoping for the best just no6 feeling great about this year.....

Weeks playing like the player I thought Heron would be. When he drove, stopped, dished to corner for an open jumper I said to myself “why doesn’t Heron do that more often?”
