Horrible half by Simon. McClung outplaying Simon that’s the difference in this game right now

That was Simon, who gets me nervous handling rock.

Williams in, Simon should sit 2nd half to start.

Was probably referring to SP pass to a wide open Heron under the basket that was deflected and picked off.

I was actually talking about a prior possession where they were out on the break and Shamorie made a sloppy pass to Heron that resulted in turnover. Agree about Simon - this is the worst half I've seen him play in quite a while.

I hope I hear, "Trimble for 3", in the 2nd half.

We are not getting beaten badly on the boards, but we're also not winning the turnover battle by much. We've had too many bad possessions offensively when we could have turned momentum..

If we are going to make the tourney we have to win this game terrible first half Simon couldn’t have possibly played any worse I think he is the only person that does not get that the other team leaves him open cause he can not shoot. Need to play much much better in second half only down 4 let’s get this game!!!

The real difference is that they are hitting 3 pointers at a higher percentage than us right now. Everything else is pretty equal. Flip those numbers and we are leading.

HALFTIME: Georgetown leads St. John’s 41-37. McClung leads all scorers with 13. Clark, Ponds and Figueroa each with 9 for St. John’s.

I understand, I noted that earlier. Simon is an upperclassman and our best defensive player. He has to be able to control McClung and also not get his pocket picked at the end of the half. Bye bye NCAA Tournament if we lose this game. MJ Dinkins made the most astute analysis, we don’t value every possession. Simon is a huge part of that.

GT 49% on shooting & 46% from three.

GT turning ball over as usual but SJ has 7 also

What was that early timeout where St. Jean was doing all the talking and Mullin was tying his sneakers? Not a great optic.
