Always liked Elmore, both as player and announcer.
Ok. We get the ball back to start the half.. Plus Steere is rested and ready to put us on his back.. Couldn't draw the comeback up any better
That made me laugh and I’m pretty depressed.

This is one of the games where nothing is going right, every 50/50 ball against us, unforced turnovers and they cant miss. That's why u cant lose the last 2 very winnable games, every year there a few games like this you can't win. Just my opinion, but I'm disappointed as is the rest of us.......

Shit! This game is about as hard to watch than most losses during Mullin's first two years at St. John's.
We’re not as good as we looked earlier in the year and not as bad as we’re showing tonight. Right? Please say “yes”.

Shamorie really masked LJ and Heron’s deficiencies last year. Great players who simply can’t make their own shot. Point Guard play really makes or breaks a team. Unbelievable half just now.

Haha! Honestly, I'll have a better idea after Saturday's game versus DePaul. Saturday's game has to be a win. I'd prefer it be a resounding win as well to truly let me know that tonight's game was a fluke and not a harbinger of things to come.

My humor is the only thing that keeps me from having to buy a new television every game

How can a season that had so much promise after the Arizona game go so bad so quick? I think CMA’s winning season streak is definitely in jeopardy now.

I know I keep repeating myself, but I’m just shocked how poorly Heron has played against good teams. He’s a five star recruit and two time second team all sec as a freshman and sophomore. I just don’t get it.
Sad to see Champagnie has totally lost all his confidence. He seemed to be developing.
He really needs to work on his shot. He has a good release but he doesn't always look soundly squared when he shoots the ball. He also shoots line drives which leaves him little room for error.

I thought we ran some decent sets during the earlier part of tonight's game, but once things got out of hand so did everything else.
Will have to agree to disagree, saw a lot of guys standing around while LJ and Heron had to force shots. Same while Dunn dribbles to bull himself to the rim.

I think he has to be put in a good situation for things to work for him. He wasn't exactly the focal point on those Auburn teams, either.

That's fine. But I know what I saw during the early part of the game. Once things starting getting out of hand is when I noticed the forced shots.

Talent wise he should be playing behind Steere. Something is rotten in Denmark. Walter Berry hardly broke a sweat in practices but was our most productive player. This is not a practice issue.
As pointed out by others there is no point guard and no on court leadership. Hopefully CMA has a plan for some of these players but need to recruit over them ASAP.

Kinda shocking turn if events. Very disappointing. Feel sorry for the kids. And yes we aren’t as good as we looked early in season and no we aren’t as bad as we look now. But oh boy, painful.
