Let's get some action down low. Get them in foul trouble.

I believe we made our biggest run with Williams and Trimble playing together. Trimble with a couple of big plays and hitting his FTs.
Hard to believe that those were Trimble’s first FT attempts of the year!
The announcers said that something like 31 of his 32 field goals attempts this year have been from behind the arc. Not going to get too many free throw opportunities with those numbers.

The strategy of Simon running the point is like Rocky Balboa fighting right handed. I understand the need for Ponds to save energy here and there, but hope we don’t get knocked out in the process
What makes it worse is Simon is so deadly inside. I think he can literally be the best offensive rebounder in the country if he played closer to the basket.
Simon gets so many clear looks around the rim, however he is either completely money or it looks like the ball slips out of his hands and misses everything. It's very odd.

I think they did that a bit to confuse Georgetown who we know was going to key on Ponds at the point and try to slow us down that way. I don’t know if it worked or not because we started slow anyway, but we came back from it. Let’s step on the gas here and really take ownership of the game. Show where we belong.

Paul’s point on $$, Govan tires & then comes up short on shots & slow to get back

And he just got Akinjo to get his third foul. [instagram][/instagram]

Akinjo with 3 fouls. That's big. Of course Ponds 1/2 on FT. Seems to be a trend and he is a very good FT shooter. Just as I type Heron also misses. WTF.

Prophetic

Ref jus missed obvious travel on Leblanc. I mean how do you miss 6 8 guy walking in the paint?

I said earlier foul shooting would cost us a game or two if we don't clean it up. This could be one of them.

We knew Govan would be an issue. He is for every team. One of the best bigs in the country. Need team effort to win. A little run wouldn’t hurt...

Turn up the pace and run them out of the gym.
