Seems every team SJU plays has 1 or 2 kids that make u pay from 3 when you are overly aggressive. And seems SJU does not have those kids. 

Creighton 7-11 from 3 and SJU is 3-9. 12 pt difference there.

I actually saw some good things in the half.  Particularly from wheeler.   And if Creighton cools off, and get more usual contributions from champ and wusu, I think we make a comeback.   Call me a cockeyed optimist.

I don't know how we went from getting it down to 5, then ballooned up to 15 pretty quickly.

Creighton a lousy shooting team but shoot light out against us.  Rinse and repeat.  This is on the coaching.  Hope we come back but I’m so fed up!

Expect Creighton will cool down a bit from three but we aren't winning this unless Champ is as hot in second half as he was cold in first half. At least half of his misses were very good looks that he routinely makes.

I don’t totally disagree but we’ve dug ourselves a very large hole.  We turned the ball over a bunch early and settled down a bit.  But rebounding and scramble defense has been awful.  Champ has also been awful

You know 1 for 10 ,that’s hard to get even if your trying
!Lets hopes we play better next half and make it close
Thoughts of getting into ncaa Torny  or finishing in the top 5 now just seems like a dream
 Hope Xavier and DePaul game next is a better watch
 
I dont think we can rebound or shoot too much worse, so I hope Champagnie gets his head fixed right.
We really need his offense to appear obviously.
 
What can you say ?  It was a awful 1/2 .  It would be quite a comeback to win this game being down 15 at the half .  Champ has had a few of these games before and given what we need from him every game , it’s not surprising we are 15 down .   For whatever reason , our 3,point defense is terrible every game . Unless the opponent shoots bricks .      And , Mathis is adequate at best but, you can’t be a BE player and shoot 63 percent from the foul line .  That’s bad for a high school player .

Simply not finishing well around the basket is killing us.  
 
Reminds of when I used to play nerf basketball against my son when he was young
Would just play keep away on the backboard
 
tough enough missing outside but it is just
hard to fathom how we can miss so many putbacks, tips, layups…
