I’ll state the obvious, the college game is centered around the 3pt shot. You need three guys who can bang down 3’s consistently. If you don’t have that you can’t beat an upper echelon team and you can’t be an upper echelon team.
 
Our out of control style results in a lot of these ridiculous calls on us.

We arent very good and our helter skeltor style and teams like Uconn play down to us.  Thats the only reason we are still in this game.  Its like playing a pickup game in the schoolyard.
 
Messing up those fast breaks really hurts when you are need to cut the lead.
I didnt expect to win this, but again the game is there for the taking because of all the UCONN mistakes.

Sanogo is an absolute stud.  That’s not on us. Honestly Soriano is getting better and I’ll take it.  Cma had to replace a lot of players this season.  I thought we’d have a bit more firepower but I suppose might have overshot that.  I like our young guys like Pinzon and Stanley and they need minutes.  Too bad Pinzon is out.
