Cole as much mental as anything now. Completely out of sync.

3 point deficit not bad considering. Who gets the second half kick off?

Us. And I bet we see Wusu back returning

Roberts should be playing 16 minutes a half.  Moore is getting too much pt.

Cole should not be playing at all.  Those minutes should be going to Earlington.

We would be winning right now if we did this in the 1st half.

This game is a microcosm of the whole season.  Get killed on the boards.  Make stupid passes.  Take ill-advised shots.  Give up a high shooting percentage from 3.  Have at least one of your stars disappear.  And yet somehow be in the game.

If they could just make progress on those things then there is no reason why they can't win games.  They are their own worst enemy, this team.

It would be easy to blame the coach, but when they come out of timeouts they often seem to have the ship righted, at least for awhile.  So it doesn't seem as though they aren't being told the right things, maybe they just have short attention spans.

This game is a repeat of the Marquette game - they have to get Julian untracked, compete better on the boards, and take higher percentage shots.

As for my guy Wusu, he has a lot of tools.  He's a big and strong guard, he has confidence in his shot and his form is OK, he can handle the ball some, obviously get to the rim and defend.  He has to slim down a little and when his feet move faster he will foul less.  But if he works on his game and his footspeed and cuts down on the fouls, he will be a beast in his junior year.  Mabye by next year if he takes the Champagnie offseason program, whatever that is.

Roberts should be getting the playing time.  Earlington should be get 10-15 minutes per game, which I believe is what he is getting, or close to it.   Earlington and Cole are two completely different players, if you are subbing one for the other, you may have problems.

I was hopeful for Cole, but the more I see him, I don't see it.

Slow footed, slow to get off his shot and doesn't seem to have a feel for the game at this level.

Hope he evolves, just don't see it. Rather see Earlington or Wusu take those minutes.

Not any serious foul trouble for us. Josh w 4 pts  & 3 rebounds and at least gives their bigs pause. Marcellus provided a lift. No more McG please, their guards abused him

Only part you forgot was redmen.comers throwing remotes against the wall and desperately searching for the batteries

Let's set up some picks and shake Champ and Cole free for some shots.  Thatwill open up down low.

I took heat early in the season for saying this, but I remain of the opinion that Wusu has the highest upside of the Anderson recruits thus far.  He is not as far advanced as Posh, but he has a complete skill set and I think will develop into a star in the league.  I also think he is the template for what Anderson is looking for in his recruits.  Having a good game today, but he isn't there yet on a consistent basis.

better than Julian? Agree over Posh, but will take all of them.

what can Cole do that Earlington cannot?

Always enjoy Donny Marshall's analysis and humor. Had no idea he's a member of Mensa.

Let's see what Wusu looks like in his sophomore year.  I don't think he will be as good next year as Julian is now.  But by senior year, he may be better.  That one will be close, I think.  Wusu may physically dominate opponents, whereas Julian tends to play more in the rhythym of the team.
