With Cummings out, Ferguson is the guy that shoots the best(51 percent from 3 last season) and Moffat who missed a few in the first half Need to be all over them.  The defensive rebounding is terrible. On a positive note only one turnover and 23 bench points.

Love the effort today.  Champy on Fire, Posh all over the place etc.  Getting solid minutes from wheeler, pinzon and Stanley.

Not sure why we start niwye then never put him back in the game.  The kid needs minutes to get better.  If he is going to be our starter, give him the minutes he needs to get better.

My biggest concern is we start 3 guards who cant shoot the 3.  That will be our achillies heel come conference play.
Nywie picked up 2 early fouls is why he was benched.

And Wusu is currently shooting 38% from 3 and Mathis is currently shooting 40% from 3.   Posh is the only guard right now struggling with their 3 point shot.

Plus Stanley, Wheeler and champ all played well enough where it was hard to take them off the floor.

I will never complain about CMA's substations, and/or who he gives minutes to,  when we're playing well.

I missed a lot of the first half but it looks like they are putting forth more effort than previous games.

Mathis may not be a great shooter but he does so many things well and really helps us even when he's not scoring. Definitely good enough to start for most Big East teams.

My only issue with Posh and Wusu is that sometimes they drive to the hoop and throw up these god awful crazy shots.

Curious to see how Wheeler plays in the 2nd half.  He had a fire lit under him in first half after not getting to play for 2 games.

And all he has to do is hustle, grab rebounds, play defense, run the floor, he'll be able to get open shots from time to time.  He did exactly that in the first half.

This is how we should have played all the other cup cakes. CMA finally got them fired up.

Today Chsmp is like an ATM. Pure Money !
It was posters after last game saying he hasn't improved and he's not ready for the NBA...  The kid is a pro,  he scores so easily and his defense from last year to this year is like night and day.  You literally see him guarding positions 1 through 5 this year and averaging over 2 steals a gaming doing that and he's always getting deflections.

LOL

Wheeler thought to himself "I'm back, time to throw up some 3s"

Btw the concession stand line at halftime definitely a super spreader event

I hope mjmaherjr put some dineros on this one. It looks like we just might beat the spread. LOL!

To start the second half Wheeler slipped back to his old ways, but the last few minutes his activity defensively around the rim has been good.
