I don’t know how many rebounds but it really was offensive.
espn showing 3-3 it seemed a lot worse than that total rebounds not good. We aren’t pushing the ball. 2 fast break points ufhhhh
Realize our bench sucks but 22-0 differential is painful
that is what Lavin just said during the halftime report. :).

Talent + inconsistency = mediocrity
We are 15-3, and a few calls away from 16-2 or 17-1. I wouldn't exactly call us mediocre.
Believe Monte and Paultzman were referring to this game and not the season in general.
Correct RN. However if we don’t start showing more consistency game in and game out, this will turn out to be a very mediocre year for us(middle of pack in Big East and NIT bid). And our undefeated OOC schedule will soon be a very distant memory.

Their bench has almost outscored our entire team

Fortunate that Butler turned ball over a lot or margin would be lot worse. Maher is right that a veteran team should be more poised road game or not.

FWIW getting 10.5 in 2 team teaser with Duke(sold my soul to the blue devil). Duke getting 2.5.

Our starters have outscored theirs 27-17.

Come to the realization we will always be helter skelter....Dr. Jeckyl/Mr. Hyde team. What separates us from the Villanova's and Marquette's is being able to win 2 in a row in conference play. The reason is we are not consistent. Not sure why Ponds waited until late in the 1st half to really start trying to score. We are not in November where we have time to test things out. This is do or die time, it's almost February. Teams have learned how to beat us from the DePaul blueprint. Pound us inside and set up open 3's. Keita ain't getting it done. No skill, just a body unfortunately. We get bodies without skill and Butler gets skill without bodies.
The jinx continues
We are stinking up the joint
Jordan Tucker playing out of his mind
Need to get focused and turn it around
We can do it
GO ST JOHN'S!!
He's also running his mouth to Ponds which isn't wise.

How can all 5 of our Players have bad games all at the same time ? The second half will be a gut check of Team Character . 3-4 in BE with tough road Games ahead is heading towards bottom tier of Conference . Doubt we can play any worse than first half . Disappointing .Could use 6-0 run to start 2 Nd half .

I hate to say it but in the large conferences you are going to be mediocre when you have no bench and essentially no height and start four guards and a forward. We may win more than we lose this year in the Big East.We should because others are also laboring with younger teams or some glaring weakness, but overall this is not a powerful team in any sense.
Despite that, with good outside shooting and focused energy for forty minutes, we cam still finish in the top four of our league and make the NCAAs..
We can be among the “best of the mediocre” in the Big East.

You're right - Ponds needs to take him to school in the 2nd half

If I'm not mistaken, Ponds has been doing this every game. It's bizarre. I get getting others involved and all but he's our guy!

Butler looks like a very beatable team. Just a very poorly executed first half by our guys.

That just shows that sometimes many of the self proclaimed experts on this board don't always know everything.

This team has grit.
We’ll be relentless in 2nd half and win the game.
Never say never.
