Unless he could transfer next year, why take him?

We are on the very short list of a lot of promising power forwards in the next few classes.

I believe we were listed at one point with Sidike Johnson who was just suspended from Arizona. Neal Nieves said he is hearing that he might transfer.

I happen to like Sidiki's game. I know many who don't feel the same.
But Sidiki should have never went to UA. Too bad as now he has to miss time regardless. Its clear he's not happy with the few minutes he's getting and it will get 10 times worse next year with Ashley and Kaleb coming in.

Did you go see Garrett play in CT?

No I've been battling head cold since Friday. Would have liked to more see Darrick as I've seen Amir before.

Gotcha, feel better. I actually just read on the Garrett thread, another poster summarized all the games.

If he chooses to transfer now, after the 1st semester, he will be eligible second semester next year wherever he ends up.

Agreed and he would have had a full year practicing with the team.
I would take him immediately.

I also don't think he would scare off any other potential PF's like Gathers nor Jakarr or jermaine Lawrence. Sidiki must just decide if he wants to be part of a program where he isn't going to be promised much more PT than . Sean miller and Lavin recruit very similar styles. That said, I don't know what his issues are out there nor if he even has thought of leaving. Regardless, he's a big body and would be a solid addition to SJU or some of the other local programs.

Theo would have graduated in May if he'd kept to a normal 4 yr education. Showing as a Jr. on the Brock U website. Only played in their first 3 games then must have gotten injured. Was averaging 6 ppg.

Erving Walker, former CTK player, played a good game against Cuse tonight. Norm Roberts gets to coach a player that did not give him the time of day while he was a coach a SJ! LOL!

He's about to turn 26. Wow! Lived with his "cousin", a white player on the team, and was allowed to play for Cardozo as his zoned H.S.

Mike Rosario from Jersey, originally went to Rutgers.
Transferred to Florida so he could be big time.
Played 6 minutes last night against Syracuse.

Re-twisting his ankle early in the game curtailed his minutes. Got re-taped, tried again and couldn't push off his leg so he sat.

Also shot a sweet air ball from 3 during those 6 minutes
