MManhattan playing with short roster, but Fordham is playing well under new coach. Granted, not against quality competition. That said, this will be a very competitive game this week.

Granted, it's early in the season, but Rhoomes' offensive numbers have improved dramatically. He's averaging 13.5 ppg -- more than twice his previous best season -- and he's doing it at a scorching FG average of .706.

Will it be an SJU home game?! Have been trying to get a feel as to how many SJU fans will be there.

Would guess there be a small group of us & Fordham fans will turn out well knowing this is the year to get us. Johnnies 6.5 dogs I just read btw.
 
Fordham looks improved and this will be a raucous atmosphere for them. Interested to see how we respond. Wish this game was on TV.

I follow their program as well as ours. Granted not that much. I saw them play Manhattan on Saturday, they look decent but the competition they've faced has just been terrible. Their coach is a nutcase too. It would be huge for us to come out strong early and get them flustered. Also I think we should press the entire game from the first whistle on.

Last time at Rose Hill, in Lavin's first year, we had a better team & lost in an exciting game. To be honest I enjoyed that one more than most Johnny games at CA, although the recent Rutgers game was exciting. Really looking forward to this one. Unlike many, I love Rose Hill, despite how old it is.
 
Fordham may feel this is their year but the pressure is on them at home. We still will need to play a strong game to win. I think we get this one.
