Fordham vs. SJ Official Game Thread

Can Lavin teach these kids how to run a damn fast break? WHY are we always slowing up and passing around slowly to the perimeter?! I almost always see an open man inside that we refuse to pass to in FB scenarios...this is aggravating.

Horrible coaching in this game. Lavin should have called a timeout and made sure they got a good look with that last shot before the half!

Pecora is a much better coach than Lavin. St. Johns has twice the amount of talent that Fordham has.

Down by a few shooting 20% most of the half you would think we are due for a huge hot streak right? That better happen is all I can say. And let's pray to god that no recruits are there.

When your team is shooting 20% Borgault needs to be in the game all the time. He's their best shooter.

It is impossible to look good when you are shooting 29%. They are getting good shots just not hitting them. Need to play angry and tough on the boards.,

Which is why his team is 1-7

All I know is his team is beating ours with half the amount of talent the same way USF did. This shouldn't happen to against a low level A-10 team. I can understand that a team can have off nights shooting. But, the lack of defense, lack of rebounding, getting beat to every loose ball along with the bad free throw shooting is inexcusable.

Can't even find a running play by play on the internet. Anyone know where to find some internet coverage? I would hate to miss what is possibly the most embarrassing moment in SJU hoops history. I want to see the shame on the player's faces. Maybe it will teach them that this a team game that requires hard work. It's not all about how high you can jump.

Michigan doesn't have a ton of size. Their starting center is 6'8 240 Jordan Morgan. Watch how they play defense and rebound.

It's play by play, but not video. It's on MSG+

The Johnnies have a low hoops IQ. I have a feeling we are gonna be in a nailbiter. I hope that isn't the case, but it's setting up to be that way. I'm quite disgusted at this point. There is no way we should be in a close game with Fordham (even, if its one half).

Christian Jones should play more, as he's usually looking for someone with a better or closer shot. Too much one on one for the better part for most of the bunch.

I hope they get their head outta their butts in the 2nd half.

Plus,Michigan starts two freshman, one Sophomore and two Juniors. Not one Senior.

I counted 3 missed layups, bad FT shooting carried over, and just way too many easy buckets for Fordham. Our offense is absolute trash right now...MAKE THAT 4 MISSED LAYUPS! Wow. Just wow.

please ask your doctor if they still prescribe tuinal or seconal

Please tell me Lawrence or Jordan are not at this game. If we get off to a terrible start in the 2nd half I will have to fight my instinct to reach for the remote and shut the game off like with SF.

Off to the game center. Syracuse up 70-28 on Monmouth. Wow.

PS 18 minutes to go still.

I'm not watching the game but i've been worried about the 1 on 1 thing for a while. Would like to see a little more structure
