Fordham (MSG), Sat., Dec. 16, 3:30p, FS1

Fordham players are tight on their coverage making our guys uncomfortable. Need better ball movement and less standing around.

-Not smart basketball
- Our lazy fouling is not improving.
- Pitino is subbing way too much and we cannot get in a rhythm. Wilcher and Allene started the rally - need more time.
—Jenkins has to stop all the dribbling

I won't go that far but I don't want to hear the announcers talk about all of this silver lining from this first half. Fordham is a terrible team. Somehow they're sort of in the game. We can't do anything without Soriano on the court. We are susceptible to self-inflicted offensive draughts. Dingle is just not the guy we thought he was. This is the most frustrated I've been watching a relatively non-competitive 10+ point game lol. Apologies for the crankiness but with Pitino comes higher expectations.
Posted out of frustration. Please disregard

As ooc winds down you could conclude:

Alleyane either does not practice well or God knows what

Dingle either has lost confidence, is apathetic but clearly unlikely the go to guy we expected

Joel best big here in ages

This may not be whole is better than parts team

Middle of pack in BE seems ceiling

Rick has a hell of a tough job this season, but never count him out

This is Rick’s team, especially with the large turnover.

My mind is already on Xavier. Will the guys read the scouting report about Olivari? Can we stop McKnight from breaking our defense? Will someone emerge who's not Soriano?
Smart & am with you

I wish we could have saved Alleyne for next year with some drive and kick guys on the roster.

—Jenkins has to stop all the dribbling
When Jenkins does stop dribbling, he picks up his dribble in bad spots on the floor and doesn’t get rid up it right away. When a PG picks up his dribble it should be either to pass it or shoot it immediately. Jenkins one time picked up his dribble in the corner with no idea what he wanted to do with the ball.

You forgot — Let’s pray Luis gets healthy and turns out to be a savior! 🤪

Olivari and McKnight are going to light us up.
I've watched a dribs and drabs of Xavier this year, and McKnight scares me. I don't even think he's that good, but he's the type of guy who's going to get Jenkins in foul trouble, blow past Dingle off the ball on a switch, run away from our press, etc.

Olivari is the type of guy we need to stick Alleyne on. He will have a field day going off screens with Dingle...

Can't stand watching Jenkins. I dont care how many assists he has.

Between his public comments and facial expressions, it's clear Pitino is like "wtf did I do this offseason?"
