Season opens Sunday night in Dallas at 8:30pm.
Big hopes for this team if the O-line can protect Eli. D looks like a game changer.

What a farce! He's suspended but can play vs. the G-Men.

Its as if the NFL wants their sunday night showcase game to have a storyline..

Let's go Rangers! In my own twisted world as a diehard Mets fan (13 to 1 losers tonight to the awful Marlins) and a diehard Giants fan (0 and 2 and looking just terrible after their home opener loss to the Lions tonight) there is a lot of pressure on St. John's to be good this season.
If St. John's is not good, then my 2017 sports year (Mets, Giants and St. John's) will likely be a total bust.
Not to be an Eli defender, but Sam Darnold or Josh Rosen isn't going to make a difference if they don't (1) improve the OL (2) have some form of a running game. I'm not going to pretend Eli is helping the situation with his play, but the Giants have had a one dimensional offense for years and that's a big reason why they haven't gone anywhere.
2012 - Ahmad Bradshaw 1,015 yards
2013 - Andre Brown 492 yards
2014 - Andre Williams 721 yards
2015 - Rashad Jennings 863 yards
2016 - Rashad Jennings 593 yards
Through 2 games, Paul Perkins has 26 yards, Shane Vereen has 28 yards, and Orleans Darkwa has 31 yards. It's not surprising that Eli is struggling when the team literally hasn't had a rushing attack since Bradshaw in 2012.
