Just saw (again) a pic from a photo shoot that has Sima, Mussini and Yakwe. Federico tweeted a pic from that shoot that says "Brothers" which I really like. It's 3 guys who could very likely spend 4 years playing/growing/succeeding together. I know it's been rumored that Ellison might transfer...does anyone know if that's the reason he wasn't part of this photo shoot? I believe the shoot was promo for the Big East Tourney.

Where was Ellison leaving rumored?

We have great kids and we all look forward to next year, I hope we get some shooters. We had no "go to " player on this team and that is the reason we came so close so often with no positive results. It wasn't coaching; it was shooting. I thought the team worked the floor as well as any StJ teamI have seen in more years than most have been alive.
We can expect some of the same freshman mistakes from Ponds and LoVett next year and we will still have some from our sophomores but we need that guy or guys whom you can give the ball to when you need a score.
I;m hoping someone will develop and give us that essential piece. On thing for sure is that our present kids love the really big games and give even more than their best when playing in them, I'm confident we have a good shot at doubling this years win number with the inclusion of 2, maybe 3 good upset victories if a go to guy develops. That guy could be Ellison.
