Fairleigh Dickinson

During the game, they showed Coach Lou as he was talking to Zendon Hamilton. I've seen Zendon near the bench the last three or four home games. Does anyone know what his associiation is with the team.

Now lets bitchslap fordham sunday for my garden debut this season

We are taking bets on you making the 2 PM tip off. I think Pecora has Fordham on the come back trail. I hope the johnnies don't blow this one for your debut

Good, solid win by our guys tonight. We shot the ball well, played under control, had balanced scoring, and it was never in doubt. FDU really drained the shot clock on many possessions which kept the game closer than it could have been, but this also kept it interesting and forced us to hit some shots, which we did. Well done and now on to Fordham.

I'll be there by tipoff :)

No way Pecora ruins it for us. I'm going to wear exactly what i wore for the cuse game my all sju look

For a small team with so many ball handlers we are horrible when confronted with pressure defense.
I honestly don't know what game you're watching sometimes. How have they been "horrible?"

No, they haven't been horrible Guinness but they're playing a team with players that are half as talented as them and nowhere near as athletic. Yet, when they applied a little pressure defense on them it looked like they had trouble handling it. What happens when team like Georgetown with their high quality guards apply pressure? I just think at this point they should be handling token pressure like that with ease especially against an inferior opponent. This game was never in doubt but is was closer than it needed to be for too long.

I didnt think we had a problem breaking the press.
Dom lost his dribble in traffic and on the break a few times, but that's not the same as what you're talking about.
I didn't see much to complain about tonight. A few defensive lapses bothered me, when we didn't get back on D, but I think against better teams they won't let their guard down like that.

I don't say this often, but I thought the offensive sets looked relatively good. Best they have all season. We didn't always convert, but we were regularly getting the look we wanted.
I particularly like that when FDU switched to man we made a concerted effort to run two series of picks to have Obekpa get a favorable match up off the swtixh and then post up.
They need to clean it up. But it's definately progress.

Where was Jordan in the second half?

He was in and out, logged 24 mins overall. CO, PG4 and D'Lo played 37,36 and 36.

Other than Jordan, only Balamou logged any significant minutes off the bench. His line: 9 mins, 0 pts, 2 Rebs, 2 TOs and 3 Fouls...

Then put it in storage till the nova game.

I have not watched the game yet, but I am glad to see the score. Judging from the box score, I am surprised C. Jones didn't get more minutes and Amar got nothing. Sooner or later we will be in a game where one of these guys will have to give us minutes. I would prefer to get them some work before we hit conference play.

The devolution of Balamou and Jones is disturbing. Use of the bench perplexing. Jamal Branch was awful tonight. Zero assists. Most impressed with Phil Greene who has become a legit scoring option. It was an easy win but if we cannot get significant help off the bench a team like Long Beach St will be a problem.

Stewart was 3-4 from behind the arch vs. Niagara plus 3 blocks.
But no action tonight?

Isn't this the type of game to get experience?

Just seen Balamou got 9minutes only 3 for Stew.
Reverse that vs. Fordham.

Agree I liked a win but maybe it me was disappointed in our overall play Still need to work on deficiencies I said before why go to Italy for AMar if he was not going to impact us this yr

Coached better recruit 2 great shooters for next yr because when DLO and Greene leave we will be hurting to score from deep or for that matter to score

Not having seen the game I am confused as to what Branch is doing on the court. Jordan had more assists in less time and in fact Branch has 0 assists and 2 turnovers. What is going on that the PG is out assisted by the center and has the worse A/TO ration on the team?
