Fairleigh Dickinson

If we were playing Duke we would be losing by 40

I can not understand how every starter gets beat at will from the opposition.
Obekpa has to stay with his man and not wander on D to the 3 pt line

Yeah but if SJU was playing Michigan, they would have won by 20. SJU beat NJIT by 18,, and NJIT beat Michigan by two.

Logical right?

new work hours, i only started watching with about 12 to play in the 2nd half. a few mistakes out there from what i'm seeing, some attempts to be too flashy...

but checkin' the box score...

rysheed 5assists 2 turnovers.

that alone makes this game fine to me. hope he can start turning a corner...kid is so talented, but too reckless at times. would love him to be able to keep his cool in those big games because young man definitely has game.

took care of business tonight. this team ain't perfect, but you can argue that they are winning the games they are supposed to, and doing so well.

keep it going fellas!

the guy on fdu might need a blood transfusion judging by the size of that patch on his head

Congratulations to the team! They did what they had to do tonight. It wasn't pretty but they won.

Nice to see a good "never in doubt" win when a possible letdown might have been expected after such a big win. Taking care of business is always great to see. Way to go, fellas.

a certain shadowy figure is going to owe me some on this game. +50 today maybe double down on fordham

Where was Jordan in the last 10 to 12 minutes of the game?
Did I miss him? I found that curious.

He played well tonight. I thought he was under control.
5 assists; 2 turnovers

BTW, I think McCarthy and Abdelnaby did a nice job on the game commentary... Kept it lively, not too many cliches and spoke well of the Program.

For a small team with so many ball handlers we are horrible when confronted with pressure defense.
I honestly don't know what game you're watching sometimes. How have they been "horrible?"

No, they haven't been horrible Guinness but they're playing a team with players that are half as talented as them and nowhere near as athletic. Yet, when they applied a little pressure defense on them it looked like they had trouble handling it. What happens when team like Georgetown with their high quality guards apply pressure? I just think at this point they should be handling token pressure like that with ease especially against an inferior opponent. This game was never in doubt but is was closer than it needed to be for too long.

I didnt like how they kept saying we started 0-5 last season.....we did not start the season 0-5.

We start the big east season 0-5.....huge difference

I think they've turned the ball over against pressure TWICE this season on the full court and once against a trap in the half court. Tonight they did something they rarely do and that is tried to throw it over the pressure. It backfired. There's nothing here folks. Move along...

Exactly. Except that one TO you alluded to, they had no problem getting up the court against FDU. They were basically playing catch and either got a shot at the end of the :45 or got to the free throw line, where they didn't miss. In fact, expanded their lead at least 5 points in that time frame.
