ESPN New York -- Johnnies top DePaul

"After all, as Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin said after his Bearcats battered the Red Storm 76-54 at the Garden on Feb. 8, “To me any win they get in the Big East is gravy, this year. You can’t play with all first-year players. It’s just completely unrealistic.” "

Wise words, what these kids have accomplished is amazing, a word not often positively associated with a losing record.

Yet we already have 5 Big East wins with several games left to play. We're certainly overachieving for a half team full of freshmen.

Love the continued progress of these kids and their refusal to quit.

3 league games remaining on the schedule. I think 3 wins is probably unrealistic (although you never know) since 2 of the games are on the Road. 2 more wins would be a great achievement and even 1 more win would bring their league win total to 6, not too shabby for this youthful unit.

Another win would be very nice and two would be great heading into the BE Tournament.
Getting an NIT birth would go miles for this young group of kids.
