DR Game #2 - GUG All Stars - 1 PM

Today's feed brought me back to fond memories of the 2010 Great Alaska Shootout.

No major takeaways besides the fact that we are deep and talented at all positions. September and October practices will be a war for minutes.

Great afternoon. Got to watch Bayern cruise past Wolfsburg and then switched over to the SJU game just in time to hear the announcer call Soriano "El Gigante". That's gotta be his new nickname ;), although he also called Keita the same thing.

This is the first time I've watched a sporting event and switched back from full screen. BTW, who else is a megafan of the E & E commercials with the bouncing basketballs and screeching music?

But if you read some of the posts they don’t belong on the court with us. Then show it. Develop a killer instinct. Play to a standard. Love Omar S so far he is playing like he means business and is earning PT
I think what you're trying to say, is that he's no Chicken, Stanley.

As with many members of this message board, somewhere along the way my fandom of this team became such an intense sickness that I was willing to watch today's pathetic (to the measure of comical) television broadcast. We actually watched that production for two hours. Let that sink in.

And, oh yeah, I love Stanley.

Omar Stanley will become the X factor on this team. At some point this coming season he and Jones will form a very competitive front court presence anchored by Soriano and Nyiwe.
Posh of course will be the driving force but he now has deep support in the backcourt that can provide havoc defensive intensity when needed.
The question is when will they become a cohesive group that accepts their roles for the sake of the team.
This will be the the definitive season for this staff.
