Don't be shocked if Irish or Cincy don't dance

Too bad our game vs. Lville isn't until Thursday. Would like to get them sooner after this marathon.

Agreed, although we may be in for our own marathon tomorrow and need the rest ourselves. Obviously a tough schedule for us this week, but this is fun to see how far our team has really progressed. Looking forward to it.

Where is Harrell? I don't think he's played a minute. Must be hurt.

IAM really jealous watching these fans standing thru 5 ots the school spirit is incredible the student section is equal to duke
I remember Alumni hall buzzing like this in the 80s

the students stormed the court

What moron thought the Irish weren't a tournament team? The Irish played like Brey showed them this thread. A ton of heart. Foul calls on Louisville most times down the court in the OT's, Russ Smith horrible decision-making.

Could help us come later this week Louisville going to be tired.

Helps us already as it bumps up ND's RPI, and thus ours as well, since we have beaten ND once this year.

SJU (and all bubble teams) need to be RPI-watchers from here on out. Winning cures everything but RPI & SOS are gold to us right now.

For the first time ever I was rooting for the Irish. (That said, a pox on both their houses.) In part, it had to do with Mike Brey's behavior on the bench -- no doubt he was dying on the inside, but he looked like he was having fun and that he wanted his players to have fun too. (Quite a contrast to watching Mike Rice on the sidelines earlier in the day. At one point, he reportedly screamed at Kadeem Jack during a TO, "You're a f---ing coward!") Bottom line: a truly memorable game and it's always good to see Louisville go down and Pitino look apoplectic.

The fact that UNC Asheville, Detroit, Murray St., Florida Gulf Coast and Charleston are all at or near the top of their respective leagues, along with Baylor, helps our cause in that regard.

Rooting for ND was lunacy as they tied us in the standings now and we have to play Cuse today-- duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Umm, we are chasing the conference leaders who we only play once (Louisville). Their loss puts us all in a tie.

We have a home win against ND already.

ND winning benefits us.

Thanks for "un-duhing" me, 98, but I only started pulling for ND from the 2nd OT on. Wasn't even thinking of BE records; just got caught up with ND's effort and with seeing Louisville vaunted backcourt fail and Pitino cringe.
