Does the ACC "Grant of Rights" deal help SJU?

Based on the presumption this will stabilize the ACC, will this stop any chance of them trying for
Villanova or Georgetown ?

I understand the ACC is firmly the fifth league in the world of the Big Four Football conferences and if this is LT good or bad for them is a question
but for the new Big East this is huge for our future stability. Am I looking at this correct ?

I don't picture them going after 'Nove or G'town but I don't think in prevents them. I believe the big thing is it prevents ACC defections because the ACC owns the television rights for its member schools. I could still see them adding and the Big 12 but I think the ACC if they pursue anyone will go after UConn or Cinci and the Big 12 I think will go after Boise, BYU or Cinci. I think we have some stability moving forward with this league though. Just my 2 worthless cents (=

Neither is an FBS school so it doesn't change a thing as the ACC wasn't going to pursue them.

Hopefully the ACC ensuring it's own stability means that Yukon and Cinci are left out in the cold. I would for them to stake steps backwards and for St. John's to continue to step forward. This whole re-alignment thing might just work as quite as well as we could have hoped given all the defections.
