What good is a title, when you're always waiting for the NCAA to investigate and take it away? After the experience with Jarvis, I never wanted Calipari and his tainted act here. UK fans can claim whatever they want and continue their ostrich routine, but that title and the final four birth two years ago are tenuous at best.

As for us, I think we threw the half assed approach out the window when we brought Lav's on board. Can't be happier with a big time coach finally seeing our team as a destination job instead of a stepping stone. Rebuilding a school's basketball reputation is not easy work, but he's been up to the task.

My point is St.J's going all out to Win titles in hoops? In my opinion no because they have crapped on a longtime fanbase that has resulted in weak Garden attendence. Try & get a ticket to a Gt/scuse game courtside, sold out to their students & alumni who are treated Very Good by their school,so they show up rain or shine.
You reap what you sow.
St.J's needs to get a championship trophy already & IAM sick of the excuses, go all in.
Make it right with all the Lost season ticket holders
Bring back the Garden games package & bus the students to the games for free from queens to fill up the place with
some Energy. And the president should be at every game possible to show us all he cares & wants to win it all too. 
Until the school has a real leader looking to Win,then its making the ncca thats good enough for complacent Harrington

Never said cheat to win but I did say invest your all into winning & that inlcudes being in a good relationship with our fanbase so the Energy is there to support winning & recruiting winners.

 In the days before the pros entered the Olympics the IOC had their way and made us downright uncompetitive. Because it had national implications it was fixed just like the NCAA should be. Nobody cares that the same few win every year so it goes on year to year. Bucks, not National pride, are the reason. Meanwhile scholarships are hogged by players who rarely graduate and universities reap the profits for not doing their traditional jobs while the NCAA harasses the have nots over petty "violations." The olympics improved when the shackles were removed and so would college hoops if the field were leveled. At the very least a bunch of non productive investigators could be turned loose. The kids deserve to be paid and insured for their contributions and scholar athletes should get a legit shot. .
