 Normally I wouldn't bother starting a thread as to who will be attending our season opener but given the odd start time I thought it might be worth doing it. I will be there.
 
Maybe we can have an "unofficial Redmen.com" gathering at one of the local establishments prior to tip-off ; )  
 
I canceled meetings to make the game but this storm and the unexpected week I didnt go to work has me real far behind.

75% chance I'm able to go. Definitely wont be able to do any pregame sly fox 
 
 I'll be there with my old man.
Think the attendance could be better than we expect. During the day and on campus makes it easy for the student population. I expect parking will be a disaster though.
 
 Not sure what thread this was in so sorry in advance, but whoever said UConn would be worse than DePaul better tune in to the Mich St. game because they are dominating them. They don't look worse than DePaul...they look like they could be a top 7 BE team.

Uconn is shooting 90% right now with MSU playing zero D. Don't confuse horrible play by MSU for great play by Uconn.

I feel the same way. I hate them but want them to continue to own the Big 10 and win for the Big East. It helps our conference RPI a ton.

 yep. Boatright has looked pretty good. There big guys havent wowed me though

You guys find it easier to root for UCONN now that Calhoun isn't there?
10x easier for me, at least. 

Ollie seems like a decent guy.
 
 I'm also rooting for UConn as a Big East brother. They legitimize our conference. By the way, even if MSU is playing terrible D, UConn's offense is lights out. I know it's just half a game so far, but UConn is nowhere near a bottom team. Way too much talent. You still think this is a team DePaul will finish above?

FWIW I can't answer that question since I'm still at work and not watching the game. Stats seem to indicate they're shooting has come back down to earth and they're getting pounded on the boards. Again, bad bigs means bad results in the Big East. We'll see how it plays out during the season.
