D'Angelo Harrison = BEAST

Did you watch the game? Of course he had a tough day, Mo hit the side of the basket on one of his 3-pointers and didn't look good all day but the guy is a competitor and knows how to rebound.

I thought we won. This young team showed me plenty. Tip in at the end usually rolls off the rim for us.  Going to be a roller coaster ride at times this year. Remember--patience is a virtue.

So true. Remember, we split with Cincy last year with an All-American SG and a team full of seniors. Every game with Cincy the last 4-5 years has been U-G-L-Y. That is the type of ball Cronin has his group play. I think they are a better team than last year with three returning starters in Dixon, Wright, and Gates. And while not really a starter, Kilpatrick looked like Cincy's best player by far last year.

It's impressive to walk into a tournament team's arena and come out with a W regardless of how it looked. Well done freshman!

Would love to D'Angelo get some recognition this week as the BE Freshman of the Week. I believe that gets announed this afternoon.

Def confidence and determination...but for some reason he seems to play with a "chip on his shoulder" type of determination. Does anyone else see this?

He wants to punk envy body he plays against. Gotta love it.

He's one of the most complete kids we've had in many years. His tude is infectious. His shot is pure and his intangibles are off the chart. All this for a true freshman is really something. He's going places for sure.

D'Angelo was just named Freshman of the week by the Big East!

Aside from D'Angelo being a beast, I think the rest of the team recognizes him as their leader. He  is often looked for when the shot clock is winding down. The kid makes plays. They trust him. He bailed us out with floaters as the shot clock was winding down. I think the guys look to him for what he's proven he can do. Shoot, penetrate, rebound... He's hungry! When Mo gets more aggressive, we'll have a dynamic 1-2 option for end game/clock situations.

D'Angelo & Mo played like 40 mins . When I was watching the game , You can tell Mo was exhusted. I think his shooting was off and he was conserving his energy in the 2nd half because he knew he couldn't come out .

D'Angelo reminds me of an old Knick ! A guy who never stepped down from anyone - played Hard , kept shooting even if he missed a lot & played hard defense against the best player in NBA history - Mr.John Starks !

Bump.

I don't care if we lost today. This kid has some serious balls.

Big, bouncy ones. I hope his gun slinger attitude and short term memory rub off on Moe a little.
