 Simply put, he would not allow them to lose today. Signature moment for the kid. He's made to be a Big East player. We are very fortunate to have his services in Queens. Willed this team in every way.

Nice to see Moe with the big putback. He was kind of MIA for a bit there, but obvious that game winner was huge.

and look how much positive influence they will have on other top recruits etc. the cliche winning breeds winning is at times on point as with SJU circa 2012

 He s not afraid of anything and has all the confidence in the world. Sanpson called him a little bull during the summer AAU games.My favorite Johnny.

I think we are fortunate to have every guy on our team this year, If the non-qualifiers were playing it makes you wonder how great this team would be. Harrison has ice water in his veins, and a very short memory.

Mo had a tough day? I think he went for 14pts 14 Rebs and 3 blocks. If that's a "tough day", we're in terrific shape.

he had several bad plays during Cinci's comeback. I dont wanna get on the guy but this was not one of his better games. He and Harrison are gonna put up numbers every game if for no other reason then they're gonna get a ton of minutes and take the bulk of our shots.

and may still get Sampson who is the lost recruit from last year I think this team misses the most. When I see Pelle's highlight films and build he reminded me of Polee and although that isn't bad I think that Sampson has a build that is more developed for BE play right now. He just seems like he could get down low and bang around with the big guys a little bit more than Pelle could.
 
 We could use Pelles height, but Sampson seems to have a better attitude and is more focused. I d love to get him back.

you know if he wass 10-28 i'd agree with you as a rough day, but 5-14 is a relatively small number of shots, if two of the misses goes in, he has a pretty tidy 7-14 and 18 points and we'd say he had a great day overall.
