Damn Proud Post Game Thread

Seems like this team relishes being undersized. It gives them a chance to show their toughness. Something we didn't see last year with a much bigger team. Dom stepping up to the plate on the boards. Never saw that coming. In fact, he is a different player altogether than last season, as is Chris. Some guys here, perhaps it was Marillac, saw addition by subtraction

Are you saying that Obekpa got 16 rebounds yesterday because Jakarr Sampson is on the 76s? Because that's just silly. In fact, this team is Jakarr Sampson away from being really quite good. The subtraction yesterday that made a bit of difference was the absence of Tyler Ennis and CJ Fair. The addition was the work Obekpa and the rest of them put in in the off season. They're all seniors now. This is what seniors do.

I think we are a Keith Thomas away from being a dominant team. Sampson was all about Sampson. He wasn't a team player. Obepka has improved his rebounding tremendously but still needs to develop an offensive game. Even if he just improves his ability to finish strong around the rim instead of going back up so weak the way he does. We also need Jordan to become more consistent with his outside shooting and to take care of the ball a little better. If those things happen with regard to Obepka and Jordan we can still make some noise in the Tourney.

Dominant second half against Minnie and throwing a scare against zags is more evidence that this team is better by subtraction. Last years team lost to penn state. Case closed.

Complete nonsense.

The 2010 team lost to UCLA. The 2011 team beat UCLA. Therefore the 2011 team was better than the 2010 team and the reason the 2011 beat UCLA is because the team got better when Dwight Hardy graduated. Addition by subtraction. Also, the sun rises because my alarm clock goes off. Case closed.

Phil Greene's last second highlight play won that UCLA game. Four seasons later he's four times better. This team can't lose

Just got back from Charlotte, so I wasn't able to watch the game last night. Just wanted to congratulate these guys. Huge win for the team and really nice to take down 'Cuse for a change.

Especially happy for Phil Greene IV, who really is such a great representative for this program on and off the court. He's always busted his ass out there and I'm glad his star was shining bright last night.
