The article states that the Johnnies have been " playing their best ball of the season". Guess the writer didn't see the game against the Cuse where we were destroyed and not even competitive. Here's hoping that that game was just a temporary setback. Making the tourney will be a daunting task for this group. While most of our remaining games are against the weaker BE teams many are away games which usually adds 10 points to the home teams score.
Great to see the kids stay positive. Finishing 500 in the BE would be a major accomplishment. One can only hope.
Cuse is arguably the best team in the country. Uconn lost to a mediocre Louisville team the other day by more points than we lost to a good Cuse team, and Uconn has a loaded roster. Big losses happen at times to even the best teams, and while we are playing good ball right now, we don't have the horses to hang with Cuse.
