I don't know if it will ever happen, but it would be nice for Dee to get even a cup of coffee on an NBA roster before all is said and done.

He deserves it but in any event he is living the dream of having a good career and salary from doing what he loves. I would trade that for my desk job

I still remember when I was in high school my dad and I went to the Pavilion to watch us play Nova. DLo had 36 and was insane the entire night. We lost in OT. Brutal. DLo would get suspended later that season, and we know the rest of the story. Came back and was an incredible leader

I think maybe we put D'Lo in too much of a box as having turned his life around. I'd venture to guess and his grandmother may likely agree, that he was always a stand up guy. Like all of us he has some defects, in his case a temper that he could not control. He got help, got his rage under control, and what we saw (and see) is what was there all along, a really good guy who would be an asset to any team or program.MarkRedman" post=410452 said:

That's a really good interview. I was planning on meeting D'Angelo when he visited sju for a game last season but had to travel. From every interview you get a sense of what kind of person he is and he is such a great and honest communicator. He is a focused, dedicated, give 110% athlete.
I believe he is eligible for the SJU HOF this year or next. No brainer.

Even more than having a role on our bench some day, I could really envision D'Angelo at the mic, providing color analysis for our games. Would totally want to hear everything he has to say about basketball and our squad. Perhaps someday.
