Watched the highlights of the Connecticut vs. NJ little league regional and NJ lost 2-1 with the final out being called on a successful double steal by NJ but the runner going from 1st to 2nd being called out for sliding head first into the bag. Obviously, that is now a rule so it was the proper call but what an absolute asinine “safety” rule.
