Why wouldn't he be expected to be there?

It is his job to recruit talent.

Since the good Rev lost all that weight, I don't think he wears sweatsuits anymore. All I've seen him in is some nice, expensive looking, Italian suits.

But as far as I'm concerned, Lavin could go George Costanza on us and wear velvet sweatsuits. As long as he wins! :cheer:

Nobody said anything to that effect. Thanks for inane post and clarication of his duties. On Monday or Tuesday when Sampson makes oral commitment, can I count on you to say something positive or will you brilliantly point out we still have a long way to go? Stating the obvious is easy. I'm a critic of SL, but am curious. What would you have said if he wasn't there? Damned if you do, etc.

Btw, when confronted you never seem to respond.

Wow, we feel that strongly about Sampson? I still don't want to allow myself to hope such a thing, but it's great if true. Thanks man. I'll guess I'll have to demonstrate some patience.
 
Sampsons verbal to the program would state so much on so many levels.
That top level recruits still believe in the coach and staff and that the staff is still out there recruiting.
Two factors that are often doubted on this board.
Dare I dream but Sampson, who should be a big time scorer together with Obekpa and Jordan would be a damn nice trio to start with. Add Freeman at one forward position and I really like the first four.
Sampson would be an excellent addition.
In Paultzman we trust. :p
