Very interesting...I've thought about this stuff before and my view is that, if affirmative action is used to give minorities a leg up even if they are less-qualified than their white counterparts in admissions, job placements, etc. then why can't we do that for whites in the NBA? Might as well try to make it equal all the way around right? When you bring this up you will hear people say "No...black players are usually better and they should not lose their jobs to less athletic whites" which is totally ironic, because those are the same people who say that even though whites may be more qualified for certain jobs, they must allow less-qualified minorities to get the positions. Very interesting topic.
