Dawned on me while at the game with my kid that our fan base may be just as annoying as the ones we despise.
From the morons screaming “F Yukon” during our national anthem to the idiot mimicking giving a blowjob while on the Jumbotron I felt repulsed being around those barn animals from Storrs AND our own fans. Not to sound high and mighty, maybe it’s just a reflection of this shit society we live in nowadays.

It was a pretty long national anthem I thought the F Yukon was well timed so we all could hear it
But then again whoever sits near us in 114 will probably be repulsed by us cursing when we get mad. I blame it all on Kranmars with his Italian temper

I do agree with Mike that one person got in a well timed F UConn, but then other guys starting over doing it
The overall cursing was nothing unusual (all game long). But even as the game started some Yukon fans were standing and this guy laid into them with a 2 minute tirade to sit down. I’ve never seen someone go off on someone else like that before. And those MF’s just continued to stand up. Refusing to sit their 300 lb asses down. UConn fans do this thing where they don’t sit down until they score a basket. So of course a St. John’s fan was yelling at a UConn fan to sit tf down. They start arguing. In each others faces. Security break it up.
The St. John’s fan learned it was UConn’s own little tradition, and went and bought the UConn fan a beer

color me shocked- but i actually had a beer (ok- a couple) with the UConn fans behind me on the Bridge. It was 3 generations of fans in one fam-which was cool to see. the Grandpa was at the 2000 BE championship- as was 13 yr old me- so atleast had that Dub on him lol

Was sitting way up top in handicapped seating and there were 2 drunken, 20 something, Ucant couples yelling, arguing and having drama standing right behind me. Had my arm around Mrs. A's shoulder like I'd just done "the move" and one staggers into my arm. The Msg staff who apparently had been monitoring this group comes to me and says tell me if he bumps you again and we'll take care of it. Impressive.

I really don't care that its their little tradition. That's fine when in Storrs or Hartford. This is NYC. Our house Our home.
If I come over to your house I certainly won't sit on the couch and put my feet up on the coffee table. I will show respect that its your house and not mine.

They (scumbags) were also chanting during the St John’s player introductions. As I said, I will not go to another UConn game at Garden as I’m either too young to die or too old to go to jail.
