I grew up in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, moved to Forest Hills, Queens and have lived here for a long time. You would be surprised at what Greenpoint, Williamsburg, and Downtown Brooklyn look like now. I think Manhattan rents a few years ago were cheaper than ManhattanNot to get into a battle, but Brooklyn is hardly NYC’s shining borough on the hill.
