Congratulations to Coach Kim Barnes Arico. She led her #6 seeded Michigan team to a 70-55 win over #3 seeded Tennessee to earn their first ever spot in the Sweet Sixteen in program history.
As we all know, Kim also led St John's to their first ever Sweet Sixteen appearance during her tenure in Queens. To reach that status twice in her career is a heck of an accomplishment.
Congratulations to Kim. A graduate of William Floyd HS on Long Island, she has represented our area and school really well. Looking forward to seeing her receive many more accolades in the future.
