Some disliked Lavin's casual sideline attire. Some don't like Mullin's suits and sneakers.

So how do you enjoy Larry Brown's [strike]NBA [/strike]ABA style?

I'm stunned: Larry sporting the Phil Jackson look. Hard to believe. (Have to admit I had my own pair of overalls back in early 70s.)

He was probably preparing to "move" after the game to another job. :)
 
My guess(and hope) is that Larry dressed accordingly for some ABA promotional night. IE Farmer's night. He's always been a pretty good dresser and I don't see that get-up being part of his normal wardrobe.

Same/similar overalls, different shirt... I think LB was diggin' the look.

Please note the razor-sharp creases in the legs of Larry's overalls. Very in keeping with his fashionista image. (You can't make up this stuff.)

Based on the photos that followed, looks like it must have been Farmer's Week ... or Month .... not to mention Clown Night. :)
