Coach on WFAN - Tuesday, 04/14/2015

Listening to Carton this morning, I heard him invite Chris to the upcoming fight in Vegas. I nearly jumped through the radio yelling at Carton that Chris has work to do,leave him alone. I've got to calm down.

Hahah I'm sure Boomer was about to jump out of his seat too since he was offering him Gunnar's ticket.

Just watched interview and it was really friendly and Mullin came off great. It seemed that he had some kind of relationship with both prior to him coming on.

Did anybody catch the interview? Were B&C as ignorant as I imagine they were?

Boomer was great, Carton was his normal self. They invited Chris to play on their charity softball team, it was a good listen. Some Dream Team talk, and Carton challenged Mullin to a hoops game, Mullin told him to stop at the ATM on the way to make it interesting :)

Looks like Coach Mullin will be making two appearances at Yankee Stadium over the next 3 weeks. Man of his word, class act, and great ambassador, which has nothing to do with wins and losses.

"St. John's head coach Chris Mullin will be part of an all-star roster for the Boomer & Carton and New York Yankees `True Blue' celebrity softball game on June 3 at Yankee Stadium benefiting the families of fallen NYPD officers Brian Moore, Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu."

"Growing up in Brooklyn and having friends and family on the force makes this even more meaningful to me," said Mullin. "On behalf of St. John's University and our basketball program, I look forward to this opportunity to show our appreciation for all of New York's dedicated service men and women."
