Who gives a crap when it was delivered? I can't believe the minutiae that seems to really peeve people. More important things like recruiting, wins etc...

+1. Couldn't agree more.
There are things to be concerned or at least talk about: striking out on some recruits so far, a bunch of our guys a little nicked up, etc. but when you got your fundraising letter (and that's what it was - a red/white pitch) is not even remotely something I would be concerned about.
I havent been there in close to 15 years but yeah its still openFirst, tell me the boardy barn is not still open. You're kidding me.
.
First, tell me the boardy barn is not still open. You're kidding me.
Second, being peeved is one thing but getting your panties in a twist is just going overboard.

A couple of years ago, I was speaking to a 20 something year old who worked at my gym. His friends were renting a bus to take them to the boardy barn so they could drink without worrying about driving afterwards. I told him how the place was a dump 30 years ago, and how is was wall to wall people with not enough bathrooms. He said it was still that way, but he didn't care. He continued to say that it was so crowded that when he was drinking he peed where ever he was at the moment he had to go. I said so you just opened your fly and peed right there? He said, "No I just pee right through my pants. Who cares, I'm just with friends." True story.
Classy guy, Classy place.
and the show i heard them promoting.... Regis sports talk show???? I heard him on a mets spring training game. Sounded like he knew very little about sports in general.I've been to Boardy Barn a few times...yes it's still open and it's very much considered a major hotspot each summer. It's not a trashy place at all...while the crowds they attract may not be the classiest, the place itself is fine. It's common for big groups to go and wear the same custom t-shirts custom made for camaraderie and also to make it easier to identify their friends in a big group. I know I've taken a bus and it was really easy. It's 20 to get in but everything is dirt cheap (1-2 bucks) for beer and food once you're in.
By the way, watching the Giants preseason game on Fox and lots of talk about FS1...I can't wait!

UNLESS
Joe strikes me as the type of person who has some discipline in some areas of his life ( outside of his fan craziness )
So he probably is the type of person who sets a budget for himself each month
By the 15th of the month ( this being summer after all ) he probably drank through his budget hanging out at the boardy barn and now doesnt have the funds to donate to red white right now which angers him since this year all red white members will get Abe Keita throwback jerseys which we get to throwback onto the court the 1st game of the season

Wearing the same colored shirts? You are either in the cub scouts or the Bloods.

Well same color but there's usually more to it. Like everyone wears blue tank tops with a slogan. It's just the tradition there.
