I got mine a few days ago.
You guys live too far away.
I think the school is looking for the biggest donations from the people that got the letters first
I'm in trouble. Mine was personally delivered by Mrs. Lavin.

Over 2 weeks for mail to travel 50 miles from Queens to central LI...I wonder if it was delivered by carrier pigeon.

Yes, the letter was suppose to go out 8/1 but, FH DIDN'T WANT THE mailing expenses to be allocated to his budget and reduce his BONUS!

Just got the same letter a second time today.
But they wont get 2 donations from me other than a second check for season tickets
To solve the mystery of late delivery, I think Lavin is just a slow writer. He started writing on August 1st, this the date, but took ten days to finish.
I just noticed that Joe blacked out his scanned letter. I guess being incognito is really important to him
It reminds me of the censored letter men sent home during WW2, where the letter was photocopied, shrunk, and things that could compromise security were edited out by military personnel. Maybe it wasn't Joe after all, it was our government screeners who read all of our emails.

Anyone who would put their name out there in some shape or form whether it be on a letterhead copy or in their screen name would have to be a knucklehead. I'd never do something like that. Oops I better change my screen name now

i don't blame anyone who's been cited -- Lavin, Monasch, Harrington, whomever -- I point the finger at the U.S. Postal Service: only last month I received a similar letter from Frank Mulzoff.
