Coach Keady Is Engaged

Congrats, coach! You should have done it at mid court @ MSG like I did!

did you really?

February 18, 2001. The Redmen vs. Duke. Jarvis's team lost 91-59. I won!
They told my wife that we were in one of those shooting contests but she would have to be blindfolded and try to get the ball to me so I could shoot it. When they took her blindfold off I was there at center court on my knee. I've been on my knees ever since! :p

More info than I needed. :)

C'mon, Bama...gregbodkin is a cunning linguist.

Thanks, red. I take that as a compliment!

I went to a Knick game two years ago and a guy proposed to his girlfriend on the scoreboard. She said NO and ran off.

I think that was a joke. A couple years ago I remember it happening in NY and them making a big deal about how it was fixed.

Anyone who proposes to their gf on a scoreboard really needs to get it together. I used to be responsible for those messages for the Rangers when I interned. I believe they were $500 each back then. I used to put up the occassional message to my friends lol.

The last few sporting events I've been to, the proposals have been boo'ed! That's awesome. There is a hysterial scene from Anger Management where Jack Nicholson rips Adam Sandler for him probably wanting to propose at a Yankees game. The movie came out the same year my good friend proposed to his gf at a Yankee game. I couldn't stop laughing when then scene played...it made him feel silly.

I'd pay to see a guy break up with his girlfriend on the scoreboard at a knick game
