CO/Jordan

What does everyone think, any chance one or both are back? Better chance just Jordan returns?

Suspect who the coach is will effect that, but I'm not banking on either. Just my opinion.

I don't think we will hear anything about them until the coaching issue is resolved. And even then, making a guess is worthless. We are St. John's, where nothing ever is simple.

Chris and his antics piss me off but if they somehow both stay we have a shot at the tournament next year. A long shot, yes, but a shot nonetheless

Lets face it if these two don't come back, Coack K could be the coach and we will still be a doormat next season. It's ashame we have to count on these two , nothing but drama follows both of them around.

I think rysheed might be starting to grow up. It's too bad because after that Instagram post he seems like he's on the way out. Next year, tournament or not, would be fun watching BSamp develop and rysheed dunk on more kids

I am thinking pessimistically on SJU bb these days. These 2 are not mediocre enough to return.

I only care if Sheed comes back and unfortunately it seems we will be without him next year.

Even after CO's suspension, I still think he has a better chance of returning than Sheed.

I want Chris to come back so I can boo him.

AND so we can be competitive the year we go to Maui and Duke

If Jordan's decision to leave/hire an agent was as definite as many people believe, wouldn't it stand to reason that he would have made that announcement already, as the identity of the coach would be irrelevant.

Regarding CO, from the school's perspective, its very clear cut. Either you are definitively initiaiting a parting of ways with him because of the recent incident or you are not.

There's no in between. The rest is up to him. From a bball perspective, we're certainly better off with him.

not right......understand but not right.
i hope he matures from this like DLo and BECOMES a fan favorite!

It would be helpful to know if either/both have returned to class

Maybe, just maybe Lavin has told CO he does not want him back. If not then it's possible D'LO convinces CO to stay and become a better person, even making up for his stupid mistake. Or of course CO thinks he's worthy of the NBA, then we know he's still smoking.

I haven't read of any players from any teams making such announcements as of yet, but maybe Michael Frazier has per Chad Ford's latest list. Also note that Rysheed and Chris aren't even mentioned in the possibilities. If they leave it'll be for foreign pastures.

Let's just assume both do come back. A big IF, from what I'm reading (no inside info). What I really don't like is that they de facto become our leaders. And, frankly, neither of them strike me as leaders. Do we want whoever is on the team to emulate these guys? DLo, yes; PG4, in his own quiet way, yes; even Sir Dom. But RJ and CO? I'd almost feel more comfortable seeing Amar as our leader.
