Chris Mullin Resigning?

I'm excited. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of staff Cragg and Cluess can put together. I admittedly haven't watched much of Iona over the last few years, but if Kevin willard can make the jump from Iona to the big east with a .500 overall conference record in the WAAC, I don't see why Cluess can't succeed. Pair him with some potentially great recruiters like Hsu and Borman and we're off to a great start.

I think we all knew Hurley and Pitino were long shots from the beginning.

Cluess will provide the program something that has been missing for years; Hard work and stability.

St johns fans need to let this play out. Years 1 and 2 wont be pretty but I am confident it will work out in the end.
 
Been letting it play out for a long time now. The results have been abysmal. Time for the sanctimonious crowd to realize that the best choice is to get Pitino in at all costs. The program has become a laughing stock. I know I can't be the only one whose friends laugh at them when they talk enthusiastically about SJU basketball before the season starts. They laugh for good reason, everyone knows that the basketball program has been barely relevant for quite some time now except us!
 
Lets not forget, Kevin Willard was :30 away from getting fired after the midsean St. John's vs Seton Hall game in 2014 (the year with Isaiah Whitehead)
 
Gotta stock acting like we're the MAAC school. Pony up the $ we obviously have it. Someone high up ins't crazy about Cluess. Now we're gonna go throw some darts?
